Ford Recalls Nearly 1.5 Million Vehicles Over Rearview Camera Issue
The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said on Tuesday,Ford Motor CompanyNearly 1.5 million vehicles will be recalled in the United States due to an issue with the rearview camera, which may cause the image to appear inverted, distorted, or blank, thereby increasing the risk of a collision. The NHTSA stated that this recall involves 2015 to 2019 models of the Lincoln MKC, Lincoln Navigator, Mustang, F-250, F-350, F-450, F-550, Expedition, Edge, Transit, Transit Connect, Econoline, and Ranger. Ford dealers will offer free inspection and replacement of vehicle cameras for owners. The NHTSA stated in another notice that Canadian auto parts supplier Magna International is recalling over 250,000 installed units. Rearview camera on Stellantis vehicles.
