FRP lighting tiles are widely used in the domestic market due to their advantages such as corrosion resistance, aging resistance, impact resistance, high light transmittance, aesthetic molding, low cost, energy conservation and environmental protection, durability against aging and corrosion, good light transmission, flame retardancy, lasting performance, and a variety of colors. FRP lighting tiles are composed of high-performance top film, reinforced polyester, and fiberglass. The top film is designed to provide excellent UV resistance and anti-static properties. UV resistance protects the polyester of the FRP lighting panel from yellowing and aging, preventing the loss of light transmittance. The anti-static feature ensures that dust on the surface can be easily washed away by rain or blown away by wind, maintaining a clean and aesthetically pleasing surface. Installation and Use 1. Before fixing the lighting tiles, pilot holes must be drilled, and the hole diameter must be greater than 50% of the diameter of the fixing screws to avoid internal stress cracking due to thermal expansion and contraction. 2. Lighting tiles are fixed using aluminum profile fasteners, while corrugated lighting tiles are connected and fixed with lighting tile brackets and self-tapping screws, followed by sealing with adhesive. The position of the lighting tiles is generally set at the midpoint of the span. 3. When overlapping lighting tiles with steel sheets, the overlap must be at least 200mm, and two strips of water stop tape should be applied. 4. When connecting the lighting tiles with self-tapping screws, a cover plate must be used. Sun panels have significant thermal deformation and can easily be punctured by self-tapping screws; therefore, larger holes should be made where self-tapping screws are inserted. When installing lighting panels, the expansion and contraction of the panels should be considered. 5. When fixing the lighting tiles, good flashing washers must be used between the screws and the lighting panels to prevent water and dust ingress. After inserting the flashing washer into the screw, use an electric drill to lock it into the purlin, completing the fixing of the lighting panel. 6. Lighting tiles do not require overlapping for spans of 12m or less; if exceeding 12m, overlapping is required with a length of 200 - 400mm. Two layers of sealant should be applied at the overlap, and horizontal overlapping does not require edge treatment. For vertical overlaps with color steel plates, the type of panel should be considered. For ordinary profiled steel plates, edge treatment is generally not necessary; they can be directly fixed with self-tapping screws and sealed with adhesive. For interlocking panels, edge treatment is required. 7. During the construction of lighting tiles, stepping directly on the peaks is strictly prohibited to avoid cracking of the lighting panels. A slip-resistant thick wooden board measuring 1200mm x 300mm (length x width) must be placed at the transverse position of the lighting panel, allowing workers to stand on it while drilling pilot holes and fixing screws. Application Range Applications include lighting for industrial factory rooftops and walls, insulation and lighting for agricultural vegetable greenhouses, lighting for public sports venues, and locations requiring fire retardancy, corrosion resistance, and thermal insulation in special buildings. Additionally, it is used in various lighting fields such as warehouses, greenhouses, stations, docks, airports, commercial buildings, and steel structures.
