Currently, the construction site preparation is nearing completion, 29 out of 47 main project units have received formal approval, 19 are planned to start in March, 15 in April, with all projects scheduled to commence in the first half of the year.

The Blue Sea New Material Project, with a total investment of 50 billion yuan, is an important part of the strategic cooperation agreement between China National Petroleum Corporation and Jiangsu Province. Han Yubiao, the director of the General Department of Blue Sea New Materials (Tongzhou Bay) Co., Ltd., told reporters that to promote the deep integration of scientific and technological innovation and industrial innovation, the project plans to build 18 new chemical plants, all using domestic technology, with 16 of them adopting CNPC's proprietary technology. While building a high-end chemical new materials industry base, it also aims to construct an innovation technology incubation base for China National Petroleum Corporation, actively researching and developing new processes and products, and creating three major demonstration zones: fine chemicals, biomanufacturing, and intelligent manufacturing, aiming to build a world-class high-end chemical new materials enterprise.
