The Zhuhai Weilan semi-solid battery production line project, which has been put into production, is located at the Haida New Energy Base in Zhuhai City. It is driven by Guangdong Weilan Energy Technology Co., Ltd. to rapidly convert technological achievements. The company was jointly established by Guangdong Energy Group and Beijing Weilan New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (the solid-state battery technology industrialization platform of the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and a national-level specialized and innovative "little giant" enterprise).

It is understood that the production line manufactures 314Ah large-capacity semi-solid-state batteries, which innovatively apply nano solid-state electrolyte technology, significantly increasing the thermal runaway initiation temperature and achieving a comprehensive upgrade in safety performance. By adopting a hybrid solid-liquid electrolyte formulation and in-situ curing technology, the batteries further enhance thermal stability and cycle stability, ensuring safe and stable operation even in extreme environments. Additionally, the 314Ah large-capacity semi-solid-state battery extends the thermal runaway trigger test time by over 40% compared to traditional batteries, reaching industry-leading safety performance levels.
