TCL showcases its first mass-produced 27-inch printed OLED 4K display: Cost reduced by 20%

March 21 news,It is reported that the China Home Appliance and Consumer Electronics Expo (AWE2025) grandly opened at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, with TCL CSOT, as a leading enterprise in the semiconductor display field,Unveiling a plethora of cutting-edge display products, among which the most eye-catching is the newly launched 27-inch printed OLED display.

TCL CSOT's exhibited products covered a range of advanced display technologies including printed OLED, MLCD, HVA, HFS, and FMM OLED, comprehensively showcasing its innovative strength and commercial potential in the field of next-generation display technologies.

As a star product of TCL Huaxing, the 4K 120Hz printed OLED display has attracted a lot of attention.This is the first mass-produced printed OLED product by TCL CSOT following the launch of a 27-inch printed OLED prototype in November last year, marking the official entry of printed OLED technology into the commercialization stage.

In addition to the 27-inch printed OLED display, TCL CSOT also showcased a 21.6-inch 4K display and a printed OLED medical imaging portable case (21.6') that has been put into mass production, demonstrating the application potential of printed OLED technology in professional fields such as healthcare.

TCL CSOT stated that printed OLED technology has significant advantages in terms of display effect, eye health protection, and environmental friendliness.Compared to traditional FMM processes, printed OLED reduces the overall cost by 20%, providing users with a more cost-effective option.

It is reported that TCL CSOT's first mass-produced printed OLED 4K professional display has recently been officially delivered to customers in Wuhan. Currently, TCL CSOT's Gen 5.5 production line in Wuhan already has a printed OLED capacity of 5.5K, which will be expanded to over 10K in the future. Meanwhile, TCL CSOT has achieved full coverage of printed OLED in the fields of notebooks, monitors, and TVs, and has developed prototypes of various sizes and forms, all of which have achieved excellent display effects.
