Tailan New Energy All-Solid-State Battery Production Base Lands in Wuhan

On August 20, it was reported that according to TAILAN New Energy, the signing ceremony for its all-solid-state battery production base project in Hubei was recently held in Qianjiang City.

Tai Blue New Energy has recently accelerated its efforts in the research, development, and industrialization of all-solid-state batteries. The products have achieved new breakthroughs in safety performance, and their overall performance has reached new heights. The company has currently deepened cooperation with multiple enterprises in the drone and embodied intelligence fields to promote the commercialization process of all-solid-state batteries.

In recent years, Qianjiang City has been committed to building a modern industrial system and possesses unique potential in extending, supplementing, and strengthening the industrial chain of key lithium battery materials. This is highly aligned with Tailan New Energy's strategic goal of pursuing the industrialization and scaling up of solid-state battery technology.

This project’s implementation in Hubei marks a key addition to Tailan’s strategic layout, following its R&D and production bases in Beijing, Chongqing, Anhui, and other locations. It signifies that Tailan’s multi-site manufacturing network for solid-state batteries is beginning to take shape, covering major new energy hubs across China.

It is reported that the Tailan New Energy Hubei production base project will achieve a new phase from technology to mass production and application of all-solid-state batteries. This will greatly accelerate the commercialization process of Tailan all-solid-state batteries and provide capacity support to meet the demand of downstream high-end markets.

The official statement indicates that this signing is an important event in Tailan New Energy’s strategic expansion of all-solid-state battery production capacity, and it also closely aligns with Hubei Province’s strategic goal of building a nationally influential new energy and intelligent connected vehicle industry cluster. The project will provide strong momentum for Tailan to seize the global industrialization opportunities of solid-state batteries, gathering strength to empower, and forging a new growth pole for the leapfrog development of the new energy industry in Qianjiang and Hubei Province.
