Styling Tweaks: Spy Shots of the New Nissan Pathfinder Exposed

Cheyun.com 2025-08-20 09:52:35

Recently, Car Quality Network obtained a set of spy photos of the new Nissan Pathfinder (known domestically as the Dongfeng Nissan Tanlu) from relevant sources. The new car is a mid-cycle facelift model, featuring minor adjustments to its design. The powertrain is expected to continue using the 3.5L engine. Reportedly, the vehicle may be officially released within this year.

Although both the domestic Dongfeng Nissan Terra and the overseas Nissan Pathfinder are fifth-generation models, the former has undergone localization adjustments, resulting in some differences in their overall design styles. According to the recently revealed spy photos, the camouflage mainly covers the front and rear of the vehicle, indicating that the overall style and side profile of the new car have not changed much. The front features a large grille with a zigzag mesh pattern inside, while the headlights on both sides are embedded with LED light strips, adding a touch of refinement.

At the rear, the taillight assembly is connected by a black panel linking the taillights on both sides, creating a through-type design with a red upper section and white lower section. The reversing lights and turn signals below may use halogen light sources. Additionally, the rear bumper has been slightly revised, with decorative air vents possibly provided on both sides, and equipped with a trailer hitch interface.

In terms of the powertrain, the new Nissan Patrol is expected to continue using a 3.5L naturally aspirated V6 engine with a maximum power output of 220 kW. Car Quality Network will continue to follow and report more information about the new vehicle.
