On August 27th, Junpu Intelligence announced that its subsidiary, Puzhi Future Robotics Factory, is about to roll out 200 embodied intelligent robots, including two types: humanoid robots and wheeled robots.

Zhou Xingyou, Vice President of Joyson Group, Chairman of Junpu Robotics Research Institute, and Chairman of Puzhi Future Robotics, stated: "Next year, our production capacity will be expanded to 2,000 units to meet higher mass production demands."

It is reported that Puzhi Future Robotics is a joint venture established in April this year by Junpu Humanoid Robot Research Institute and Zhiyuan, primarily engaged in the production and research and development of robot bodies. In May, Junpu Intelligent began setting up the first pilot production line for humanoid robot bodies. By the end of June, Puzhi Future Robotics received over 28 million yuan in orders for the production and sales of humanoid robots, with customers coming from the intelligent manufacturing industry, marking the commercial implementation of intelligent manufacturing scenarios. In July, Puzhi Future Robotics became the first production enterprise to pass Zhiyuan Robotics’ "General Product Manufacturing Certification," and simultaneously launched mass production.

In addition, in terms of hardware research and development, Junpu Intelligent has successfully developed a prototype of a humanoid robotic arm with a 10kg payload and is simultaneously advancing the development of humanoid robot leg modules. The first prototype of a quadruped robot has also been successfully completed.

Junpu Intelligent has also made significant progress in the research and development of core robot components. The customized housing solutions developed for special application scenarios have passed rigorous environmental adaptability tests. In collaboration with strategic partners, they have jointly developed a rotary joint module and successfully completed the prototype development of the first cycloid reducer, with all performance indicators reaching international advanced levels.

"The direction of (embodied intelligent robots) is the right one, and we will continue to pursue it," Zhou Xingyou said.

Junpu Intelligence also mentioned in its semi-annual report that its embodied intelligence robot business made breakthrough progress in the first half of the year.

Currently, the Junpu Intelligent humanoid robot "Jarvis 2.0" intelligent system has successfully completed a multimodal upgrade. By integrating various AI models such as large language models (LLM) and vision-language models (VLM), it achieves functions including multilingual dialogue, voice command control, and visually guided object grasping and placing. Meanwhile, the "Jarvis Lightweight 1.0" version has been officially delivered to Tsinghua University and other universities for research and teaching purposes.
