Only 30 Units Worldwide! BYD Yangwang U9 Xtreme Fully Electric Supercar Officially Launched

Recently, BYD's high-end new energy brand Yangwang officially launched the all-new pure electric supercar Yangwang U9 Xtreme and announced a limited global release of 30 units.

The new car is positioned as a top-level high-performance electric supercar, equipped with multiple cutting-edge technologies, further enriching the product matrix of the Yangwang brand and showcasing BYD's technological prowess and innovation direction in the field of high-end electric performance vehicles.

The Yangwang U9 Xtreme continues the original low-slung wide-body design and aerodynamic styling of the U9 series, while also undergoing upgrades in exterior details, lightweight structure, and performance tuning to enhance its track attributes. The new car is built using carbon fiber and other lightweight materials, and is equipped with a large fixed rear wing, diffuser, and exclusive sports package to further enhance the vehicle's downforce and high-speed stability.

In terms of the power system, the car is equipped with the "Easy Four" technology centered on four independent electric motors, with a combined system output far surpassing the standard version. The 0-100 km/h acceleration time is expected to be around 2 seconds, demonstrating extremely strong power performance. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with the Yunlian-X intelligent body control system, capable of real-time dynamic adjustments of suspension stiffness, height, and four-wheel torque, balancing track driving and everyday road adaptability.

Although the specific price was not announced at the press conference, as a limited edition model targeting top-tier users, the positioning of the Yangwang U9 Xtreme is clearly higher than that of the standard U9. Its final price is expected to be in a higher range. Delivery is expected to begin within 2025.

The launch of the extreme version model demonstrates the Yangwang brand's ongoing exploration of high-end and performance-oriented product strategies in the electric supercar sector. This car not only carries the task of enhancing the brand image but also reflects BYD's integration capabilities in motor control, energy management, and body stability technologies.
