Official Spy Photos of the All-New Volkswagen T-ROC Expected to Debut on August 27
Recently, Volkswagen released official spy photos of the all-new Volkswagen T-ROC (known as the T-ROC Tan Ge in the domestic market). The new vehicle is built on the MQB Evo platform and will be equipped with a hybrid power system. According to reports, the new model is expected to make its official debut on August 27 and will be unveiled at the Munich Motor Show in September.
Based on the spy photos and the previously released official images, the new car adopts the latest design language of the Volkswagen SUV family. The front features a large-mouth grille that has been lowered, with a honeycomb pattern inside. It is complemented by through-type daytime running lights and an illuminated brand logo, giving it a sporty feel and making it highly distinctive.
The new car features blacked-out treatment on the sides and is equipped with brand-new low-resistance wheels, further optimizing aerodynamic performance. The rear continues the tail light design, while also featuring an illuminated logo and eTSI badge, highlighting its new energy attributes.
In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with Volkswagen's brand new hybrid system, consisting of a 1.5T engine and an electric motor, and it supports pure electric driving mode. Additionally, the CEO of the Volkswagen Group stated that after introducing this new system in the all-new T-ROC, Volkswagen will assess its applicability to other models in the product line, but will not fully popularize the hybrid system. CheZhiWang will continue to follow and report more information about the new car.
