Anhui Fengyuan Biotechnology Co., Ltd.'s "Polylactic Acid" and Jiangxi Guangyuan Chemical Co., Ltd.'s "High Purity Ultra-fine Barium Sulfate" were both awarded the title of landmark products in future materials for 2024.

A signature product refers to a product that represents the future direction of industrial development, has already been industrialized, can effectively reflect breakthroughs in cutting-edge technology, and has good application prospects.

Leading enterprises refer to representative companies that are in the forefront of future industry segments, with strong innovation capabilities, high market share of products, and significant leading and driving effects.

(3) Typical application scenarios in future materials (4 examples)

The typical application scenario is conducive to promoting the application and iterative upgrading of cutting-edge technologies and products at scale. It has distinctive features in the context of new industrialization and cross-border integration, and has been validated over a period of time, achieving tangible results in iconic scenarios.

In January 2024, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and seven other departments jointly issued the "Implementation Opinions on Promoting the Innovation and Development of Future Industries," proposing that by 2025, technological innovation, industrial cultivation, and security governance in future industries will develop comprehensively, with some areas reaching international advanced levels and the scale of the industry steadily increasing. A number of future industry incubators and pilot zones will be established, breakthroughs will be made in over a hundred frontier key core technologies, a hundred landmark products will be formed, a hundred leading enterprises will be created, a hundred typical application scenarios will be developed, a hundred key standards will be formulated, and a hundred specialized service institutions will be cultivated, initially forming a future industrial development model that aligns with China's actual conditions.
