Li Auto Releases Q2 2025 Financial Report: Revenue at 30.2 Billion Yuan, Net Profit Increases by 69.6%

On August 28, Li Auto released its financial report for the second quarter of 2025. The data shows that the company achieved an operating revenue of 30.2 billion yuan this period, an increase of 16.7% compared to the first quarter. Net profit reached 1.1 billion yuan, a significant increase of 69.6% quarter-on-quarter. Quarterly operating profit rose by 204.4% compared to the first quarter, reaching 827 million yuan. In terms of vehicle deliveries, a total of 111,074 units were delivered in the second quarter.

In terms of R&D investment, Li Auto's R&D expenses for the second quarter amounted to 2.8 billion yuan. The company expects the total R&D investment for the whole year to reach 12 billion yuan, with over 6 billion yuan allocated to artificial intelligence-related technologies. As of the end of the second quarter, the company's cash reserves stood at 106.9 billion yuan.

In terms of products, the Li Auto i8, which was launched in July, is currently in the production ramp-up stage. The all-new pure electric model Li Auto i6 is scheduled to be officially launched in September. This model is positioned as a mid-to-large five-seat pure electric vehicle, equipped with the industry's leading VLA driver large model. Li Xiang, founder of Li Auto, stated: "We are confident in making it the most competitive product among mid-to-large five-seat pure electric vehicles."

In addition, Li Auto currently has a product lineup consisting of "4 extended-range electric SUVs + 1 flagship MPV + 2 high-voltage pure electric SUVs," covering a variety of needs for mid-to-high-end family users. The construction of charging infrastructure is also steadily advancing. As of now, Li Auto has built over 3,100 supercharging stations, with more than 17,000 supercharging piles. Among them, there are over 1,000 highway supercharging stations, covering the national "Nine Vertical and Nine Horizontal" 18 highway network, with an average of one station every 150 kilometers. There are over 2,000 urban supercharging stations, achieving an average coverage radius of 3 kilometers in first- and second-tier cities. Li Auto has also built the country’s first shuttle-style supercharging station, exploring innovative charging service models, and plans to expand the number of supercharging stations to 4,000 by the end of 2025.

According to information from the Q2 earnings conference call, the monthly sales of Li Auto MEGA are now stable at over 3,000 units. Li Auto is actively ramping up the production capacity of the i8, aiming to achieve a cumulative delivery of 8,000 to 10,000 units by the end of September. Li Auto stated that the i6 will place greater emphasis on user experience and product value communication, strengthening the direct sales service system, enhancing sales and delivery training, and ensuring comprehensive public opinion management.

In the first half of this year, Li Auto's market share in the segment of new energy vehicles priced above 200,000 yuan in China reached 13.6%, demonstrating its sustained competitiveness in the mid-to-high-end market.
