Jilin Chemical Fiber, 35,000 tons of new biomass artificial silk project, starts production!
On February 28, the first phase of Jilin Chemical Fiber's 35,000-ton annual production biomass new artificial silk project officially commenced production.
The launched project is a key initiative for the company to fully leverage its dual advantages in traditional spinning and continuous spinning, accelerating the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries. The project has achieved comprehensive innovation and upgrade in three dimensions: product, production line, and brand. In terms of high-end products, Jilin Chemical Fiber adheres to the "Three Goods Four Modernizations" strategy, which includes improving quality, increasing variety, building brands, and pursuing large-scale, homogeneous, continuous, and fine-denier production. Through precision winding and large-scale high-quality conversion, the products excel in high-end fields such as velvet, knitting, and ATY, and are favored by domestic and international customers from China, Europe, India, and beyond, with a steady stream of customized production orders.
The intelligence of the production line is another highlight of the project. Jilin Chemical Fiber insists on independent research and development, vigorously promoting the automation of equipment, achieving an innovative upgrade in the intelligent transformation of traditional spinning. From precision to finished products, 17 sets of equipment have been fully automated throughout the process; from raw liquid to spinning, 14 procedures are comprehensively intelligently controlled. Utilizing proprietary technology, upgrades to the production line include automatic loading, transportation, loading, dewatering, and hanging. Currently, the digitalization and intelligence rate of the project exceeds 70%, with per capita productivity increased by 30%, reaching a leading level in industry intelligence.
According to reports, the project is divided into two phases, with completion expected by 2026. After the project is put into operation, Jilin Chemical Fiber's artificial silk production capacity will reach 110,000 tons, further consolidating its leading position in the international artificial silk market and contributing to the high-quality development of Jilin.
