The report shows that J&T Express continues to advance packaging reduction and increase the substitution rate of biodegradable packaging materials.

In 2024, J&T Speed Express promoted the use of fully degradable waterproof bags at its end-point outlets. By the end of December 2024, more than 3.7371 million fully degradable waterproof bags had been deployed across over ten provinces and municipalities in China, a year-on-year increase of 36% from 2.75 million last year. Additionally, J&T Speed Express selected polylactic acid (PLA) material for degradable tape and actively implemented a tape reduction program this year. In 2024, a total of 344,000 rolls of 45mm degradable tape and 645,000 rolls of 43mm slimmed-down tape were used.

In 2024, multiple J&T Speed Express outlets in China were selected as green courier demonstration cases by the China Courier Association for the year 2024. Among them, several outlets of J&T Speed Express were recognized as "green courier demonstration sites," and its "fully degradable courier packaging" product was also successfully listed as a "green courier demonstration product."

J&T Express is committed to building a sustainable supply chain system. It requires suppliers to possess the qualification listed in the postal industry supplies and equipment catalog, and imposes higher standards on suppliers of degradable materials, mandating that they must hold green product certification.

In 2024, Jitu Express processed a total of 24.65 billion packages, an increase of 31.0% compared to 18.81 billion packages in 2023.
