Quick Tech News on March 24 reported that, according to Financial News, sources claim thatHarmonyOS Intelligent Travel "Shangjie" brand will be launched on April 10.More brands and product information will be released upon arrival.

According to industry insiders close to Huawei, the first model from Shangjie will be officially launched within this year. "(The first Shangjie model) will be optimized from an existing SAIC model, but it will be a one-off. Huawei's current main task is to strive to reduce the cost of smart driving, smart cockpit, and other solutions." The new vehicle's powertrain may adopt SAIC's range extender solution.

Reportedly, Shang is targeting a younger market with its vehicles, and sources say the models will be priced starting from 170,000 yuan to 180,000 yuan, reaching around 250,000 yuan.

HarmonyOS Intelligent Travel has four automobile brands, Zunjie, Xiangjie, Wenjie, and Zhijie, which will adhere to the high-end market. They currently cover price segments from 230,000 to 1 million yuan.

According to the report,In February of this year, SAIC Motor Corporation Limited and Huawei Terminal Co., Ltd. signed a deep cooperation agreement in Shanghai.

Both parties will carry out strategic cooperation in areas such as product definition, manufacturing, supply chain management, and sales services to create a brand new intelligent new energy vehicle.
