Hengshen Group and Ambercycle Build an Industrial Closed-Loop Recycling System for Nylon and Polyester

Recycled PET New Horizons 2025-09-10 16:26:36

Recently, Hengshen Group, a leading company in the global nylon industry, and Ambercycle, an innovative company in the field of circular materials, made a joint appearance. This event marks another important milestone since the two companies signed a strategic cooperation agreement in April this year, signifying that they are actively promoting sustainable development in the textile industry by jointly building a global recycling system for circular materials.

Speech by Hengshen Group

At the meeting, Cai Lingzhi, Director of Sustainable Development Strategy at Hengshen Group, shared the latest progress of the collaboration. He introduced that Ambercycle focuses on polyester regeneration, while Hengshen specializes in recycled nylon. The two parties center their cooperation on a "Textile-to-Textile" closed-loop recycling model, empowering the circular use of the two main synthetic fiber materials, polyester and nylon. He stated that by working hand in hand with brand partners to build a fully closed-loop ecosystem from production and consumption to recycling and regeneration, this collaboration will effectively promote the sustainable transformation of the textile industry. He also expressed hope that more partners will join to jointly advance the large-scale application of recycled materials.

Ambercycle Speech

Matthew Iezzi, Director of Production at Ambercycle, emphasized: "Hengshen and Ambercycle are jointly pioneering a new path—establishing a 'cross-fiber recycling system' on an industrial scale." He pointed out that in response to increasingly stringent environmental regulations in the European and American markets and the strong demand from brands for sustainable materials, the two parties have integrated Hengshen's full industrial chain resources with Ambercycle's polyester molecular recycling technology to create an industrial closed-loop regeneration system covering nylon and polyester. This collaboration is committed to truly implementing the concept of a circular economy in industrialization, reducing dependence on virgin resources, lowering carbon emissions, assisting brands in achieving climate goals, and leading industry transformation.

The wave of the circular economy has arrived, and its success relies on the collaborative efforts of the entire industry chain. The strategic cooperation between Hengshen and Ambercycle not only empowers the circular regeneration of key materials but also aims to build a scalable and sustainable circular ecosystem, jointly driving the industry toward a promising future.
