Genesis GV80 Hybrid Spied With Over 1000km Range

Recently, CheZhi.com obtained test spy photos of the Genesis GV80 hybrid version from relevant channels. It is reported that Genesis plans to officially launch the GV80 hybrid version and GV80 Coupe hybrid version in the third quarter of 2026, followed by the release of the G80 hybrid version in the fourth quarter of 2026. The GV70 hybrid version is expected to be unveiled to the public in March 2027.

From the spy photos, the overall design of the new car is expected to continue the design style of the current fuel version. The iconic shield-shaped grille of the fuel version adopts a double-layered structure, and the front bumper is paired with large air intakes, creating a strong sporty atmosphere. The LED headlights, inspired by wings, can display dynamic lighting effects when unlocked, enhancing the technological ambiance.

The hybrid version is expected to make detailed adjustments based on this model and further upgrade the vehicle system, driver assistance features, and the sense of luxury in materials. It is reported that the new car will also have a 3.6 kW external power discharge function.

In terms of power, the GV80 and GV80 Coupe will be the first Genesis models to feature the new generation hybrid system. The powertrain consists of a 2.5T turbocharged engine and P1/P2 electric motors, with a combined system power output of approximately 266kW and an estimated total range of up to 1080km.
