The authorities stated that this is also the Greater Bay Area's first full-size composite-wing flying car special flight permit. For Gaoyu, it signifies a further step forward in the normalized validation of this composite-wing flying car.

In July this year, GOVY successfully completed the maiden flight of the first full-size composite wing flying car in the Greater Bay Area, the GOVY AirJet. Now, the GOVY AirJet has obtained the special flight permit, which not only highlights its safety and compliance but also injects strong momentum into the commercialization of three-dimensional travel.

According to reports, the GOVY AirJet integrates the advantages of fixed-wing and multi-rotor designs, featuring vertical take-off and landing as well as cruising capabilities. It adopts an 8-axis, 8-propeller configuration with dual-ducted composite wings and is equipped with GAC’s self-developed electric drive system. The maximum flight speed reaches 250 km/h, with a range of 200 km, and it can be rapidly recharged in 30 minutes. The AirJet can flexibly adapt to various scenarios, such as urban low-altitude transportation and cultural tourism sightseeing.

At the same time, this flying car is equipped with "stereo vision + LiDAR + infrared camera," combined with GAC's self-developed end-to-end model. The target recognition neural network can perceive tiny objects measuring 5*10 cm at a distance of 100 meters ahead, enabling early identification of non-cooperative targets such as drones and birds, as well as fine obstacles like power lines, achieving autonomous perception and autonomous path planning.

In addition, the official guide price of the product does not exceed 1.68 million yuan. The body extensively uses aerospace-grade carbon fiber composite materials, with a carbon fiber usage rate of over 90% in the structure, reducing weight by more than 30%. The application scenarios are primarily focused on low-altitude sightseeing in cultural tourism travel.

The official stated that in the future, Gaoyu will accelerate technological iteration and scenario implementation to truly bring "safe, efficient, and comfortable" three-dimensional travel into the lives of the public.
