French chemical giant Arkema Group sets up new headquarters in Paris

French chemical giant Arkema Group recently announced that its new headquarters located in La Défense, the largest business district in Europe, has officially opened. This strategic move not only provides Arkema Group with an ideal place for communication with partners but also marks an important milestone in the group's transformation process.

The new headquarters of Arkema Group, named "Lightwell," has a total construction area of about 25,000 square meters, aiming to create a modern space that integrates work and life. Its design philosophy emphasizes collaboration and communication, aimed at promoting seamless communication and collaborative cooperation among internal teams within the group.

Lightwell is advantageously located in the heart of La Défense, with convenient public transportation networks, which will greatly facilitate Arkema Group's interactions with numerous stakeholders and enhance the group's appeal.

The new headquarters fully demonstrates Arkema Group's expertise in high-performance materials and sustainability. The building extensively uses innovative materials and solutions from the Arkema Group.

•Interior wall paint: Made with SYNAQUA resin, a patented product of the Arkema Group, this is an environmentally friendly paint that contains no solvents and 97% of its molecules are bio-based.

•Furniture: The atrium is furnished with the iconic tables and chairs from Maison Gatti, made from Rilsan material by the Arkema Group, embodying the art of living in Paris.

• Floors and tiles: Laid using Bostik's solutions, ensuring the performance and durability of the floors and tiles.

• Decorative coatings: Multiple areas of the building adopted high-quality paints from Ideal Work, a brand under the Arkema Group, enhancing the aesthetics and functionality of the building.

In addition, the new headquarters was designed with full consideration for sustainability, using 100% renewable energy, and striving to achieve HQE Excellent and BREEAM Excellent certifications.
