Today, the ABS market price slightly declined, with crude oil prices closing lower and the styrene market fluctuating. The cost support is moderate, and petrochemical manufacturers have made minor adjustments to their quotations. However, the supply-demand contradiction in the market remains unchanged, with no signs of recovery in terminal demand. The atmosphere of cautious observation in the market remains strong, and most transactions are negotiated. The ABS market price has slightly declined.

Price: The East China market price for Jihua 0215A is quoted at 9,500 yuan/ton, remaining stable compared to the previous working day; the South China market price for Jieyang 0215A is quoted at 9,540 yuan/ton, also stable compared to the previous working day. As of the time of publication, the mainstream brand prices in the East China market range from 9,400 to 9,600 yuan/ton.

Upstream: On September 8, 2025, the average market price of styrene was 7,123 RMB/ton, down 1 RMB/ton compared to the previous working day, a decrease of 0.01%. Today's styrene market rebound was limited. The mainstream spot prices in the East China market were around 7,110-7,140 RMB/ton. Driven by news related to market facilities and exports, the futures market opened low but rose later. However, due to strong market supply pressure and weak crude oil prices caused by increased production, the cost side is difficult to support the price, and styrene offers still lack certain driving force. It is expected that the styrene market will trade sideways in the afternoon, with the mainstream spot price range in East China estimated at 7,100-7,150 RMB/ton.

Market Outlook: Terminal demand remains weak, and most merchants are discounting to clear inventory. It is expected that tomorrow's domestic ABS market prices will maintain a locally weak and steady trend. Taking East China 0215A as an example, ABS market prices range between 9,400 and 9,600 yuan/ton.
