Daily Review: Polyethylene Prices Rangebound, Purchasing Sentiment Slightly Dims
Market Overview: On October 22, polyethylene market prices were narrowly adjusted. The market price for LLDPE (7042) ranged between 6,850-7,500 RMB/ton, LDPE (2426H) ranged between 8,970-9,950 RMB/ton, and HDPE (6095) ranged between 7,250-8,100 RMB/ton. The average market price for LLDPE (7042) was 7,123 RMB/ton, a decrease of 7 RMB/ton from the previous working day, a drop of 0.10%. The average market price for LDPE (2426H) was 9,289 RMB/ton, a decrease of 16 RMB/ton from the previous working day, a drop of 0.17%. The average market price for HDPE (6095) remained stable at 7,653 RMB/ton compared to the previous working day. The international crude oil market slightly rebounded yesterday, with general support from costs. The main futures contracts for polyethylene showed strong fluctuations, and spot market offers were mixed. Currently, there is a strong wait-and-see attitude among market participants in the polyethylene market, and purchasing enthusiasm has slightly declined.

LDPE prices: Yanshan Petrochemical 1C7A is quoted at 12,700 yuan/ton, Yanshan Petrochemical 1I20A-1 (premium) is quoted at 14,000 yuan/ton, Zhongtian Hechuang LD605 is quoted at 9,550 yuan/ton. LLDPE prices: E-Energy Chemical 7042 is quoted at 6,910 yuan/ton, Jiutai Group 7042 is quoted at 6,920 yuan/ton, Yulin Chemical 7042 is quoted at 7,030 yuan/ton.
East China Region: Today, the market prices in Yuyao have been adjusted by -80 to 10 yuan/ton. HDPE prices: Daqing Petrochemical 5000S is priced at 7,650 yuan/ton, Dushanzi Petrochemical 5502 at 7,400 yuan/ton, Lanzhou Petrochemical 5000S at 7,550 yuan/ton. LDPE prices: BASF-Yangzi 2420H is priced at 9,300 yuan/ton, Guoneng Yulin 2426H at 9,260 yuan/ton, Zhejiang Petrochemical 2426H at 9,150 yuan/ton. LLDPE prices: Borouge Lyondell 7050 is priced at 7,310 yuan/ton, Huatai Shengfu 7042 at 7,070 yuan/ton, Zhejiang Petrochemical 7042 at 7,150 yuan/ton.
South China Region: Today's Guangzhou market prices remain stable. HDPE prices: Daqing Petrochemical 5000S is quoted at 8,000 yuan/ton, Guangdong Petrochemical 6095 is quoted at 8,000 yuan/ton, Guangdong Petrochemical 6200 is quoted at 7,200 yuan/ton. LDPE prices: Maoming Petrochemical 2426H is quoted at 9,750 yuan/ton, Maoming Petrochemical 2426K is quoted at 9,950 yuan/ton, Maoming Petrochemical 2420D is quoted at 9,500 yuan/ton. LLDPE prices: Daqing Petrochemical 8320 is quoted at 7,700 yuan/ton, Fujian United 7042 is quoted at 7,350 yuan/ton, Fushun Petrochemical 7042N is quoted at 7,500 yuan/ton.
