Completion | Dow's Zhangjiagang Production Base Silicone Expansion Project Commences Operation

Dow's Zhangjiagang production base silicone downstream product expansion project officially commenced production today. This project was launched in 2023 and is part of the silicone expansion project at the Zhangjiagang base. Dow has completed the expansion of silicone resins and polymer intermediates, as well as several silicone downstream product projects at the Zhangjiagang production base.

The organic silicon downstream products launched this time aim to serve the continuously growing electronics, transportation, renewable energy, as well as packaging and construction markets, enhancing Dow's capability to serve the Asia Pacific market and customers, and also highlighting the importance of the Asia Pacific region in Dow's global growth strategy.

Regarding Dow's Zhangjiagang production base

Dow's Zhangjiagang production base officially began operations in 2002, covering an area of nearly 110 square kilometers. It has become one of the largest production bases for Dow in the Asia-Pacific region, housing one of the largest and most advanced integrated silicone production facilities in China.
