Collezzi Announces Polyamide (PA) Resin Price Increase Effective September 1
Zhuan Su Shijie has learned that Kuraray has announced a price increase for its heat-resistant polyamide resin, effective from shipments on and after September 1, 2025. The company will raise the price by 200 yen (approximately $1.30) per kilogram in Japan and by $1.50 per kilogram outside of Japan.
This price adjustment is due to the continuous rise in raw material prices, increased logistics costs, and higher labor expenses, which have exceeded the company's ability to absorb through internal cost-cutting measures. ColaLi stated that in light of these challenges, the price adjustment aims to ensure the continuous supply of products while maintaining the high quality expected by customers.
Kuraray's heat-resistant polyamide resin is used in various fields, including electrical and electronic components as well as automotive parts.
