Wanhua Chemical's Yantai maleic anhydride plant adopts Clariant's SynDane 3142 LA catalyst.
SynDane 3142 LA is a selective oxidation catalyst featuring Clariant's patented dual alpha design.Compared to traditional ring-shaped catalysts, its unique physical and chemical properties can achieve the highest selectivity in the production of maleic anhydride while significantly reducing pressure drop. This innovative design offers manufacturers significant advantages by achieving higher productivity with lower process and energy costs. SynDane effectively suppresses the formation of by-products, ensuring excellent quality of maleic anhydride and greatly reducing downtime of the plant.
