According to the data from the Gasgoo Automotive Industry Big Data Platform, Jinzhou Jin Heng Automotive Safety System Co., Ltd., established in 1997, is a subsidiary of Wonder Auto Group Limited. The company has long been dedicated to the research, design, and manufacturing of automotive active and passive safety technologies, with products covering airbags, seat belts, steering wheels, and more. Its airbags have been supplied to several independent new energy vehicle models, including the XPeng G3 and Leapmotor C10, and the company received the "Best Delivery Award" from Leapmotor in January this year.
In recent years, as the scale of customer deliveries has continued to expand, Jinheng is experiencing a period of rapid growth. Notably, on the morning of the fire at its Jinzhou plant, Jinheng’s new factory in the Huaining Economic Development Zone of Anhui Province had just held its commissioning ceremony, with a primary focus on the production of steering wheels and seat belts. This facility will synergize with the Danyang base’s airbag business to jointly expand the passive automotive safety market in central China.

In addition, more than a month ago, Jinheng’s wholly-owned subsidiary—Jinzhou Deheng Automotive Safety Systems Co., Ltd.—officially commenced construction. The new project has a total investment of 119 million yuan and covers an area of approximately 46,800 square meters. It will introduce advanced intelligent production lines and adopt automated and digital management models, focusing on the research, development, and production of gas generators and propellants. Once fully operational, the project is expected to achieve an annual output of 30 million gas generators, which will significantly enhance the production capacity and delivery capabilities of the Jinzhou base.
According to information from the National Construction Project Environmental Information Disclosure Platform, Jin Heng's production base for 1.5 million steering wheels per year, located at No. 4-7, Section 1, Tianshan Road, Binhai New Area, Jinzhou, as well as the automotive airbag production project with an annual output of 11 million units located at No. 3, Ganjiang Street, Jinzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone, were both publicly disclosed around May of this year.
In response to this fire incident, Gasgoo has attempted to contact relevant staff members at Jin Heng Automotive Safety Systems, but had not received a response as of the time of publication.
