Chengdu Auto Show Debut: New Changan CS55 PLUS Official Images Released

Recently, from relevant sources, Chezhinet learned that official images of the new Changan CS55 PLUS model have been released. The new car is scheduled to debut at the 2025 Chengdu Auto Show opening on August 29 and will be officially launched within the third quarter. The new Changan CS55 PLUS is officially referred to as the fourth-generation model. It has already completed the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) filing and will be equipped with Changan Automobile's Tianshu driving assistance vision system.

In terms of appearance, the new car adopts the "Vertical and Horizontal Universe" family design language. The front face is equipped with a large, borderless grille featuring a dot matrix element decoration inside, providing a high level of recognition. At the same time, the star-ring-shaped light groups on both sides merge with the air guides, and the unique "boomerang" design effectively enhances the visual width and solidity of the front face.

The side lines of the car transition smoothly and gracefully, creating an overall solid and compact visual effect. In terms of dimensions, the new car measures 4550mm in length, 1868mm in width, and 1675mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2656mm. Compared to the current model, the length has increased by 11mm, the width by 3mm, the height has decreased by 5mm, and the wheelbase remains unchanged.

The rear design is simple and neat, with through-type taillights echoing the high-mounted brake light, offering an excellent lighting effect. The rear bumper features black trim panels with silver accents, adding a touch of sophistication to its wildness. The dual exhaust outlets on both sides are merely decorative, primarily used to enhance the sporty feel.

The interior adopts a minimalist design in line with current mainstream trends, featuring a dual-screen setup consisting of a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster and a 14.6-inch central control screen, exuding a strong sense of technology. It is equipped with the latest version of the Tianshu OS car operating system, which not only offers a wealth of functions but also comprehensively optimizes the user interaction experience.

In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with Changan Automobile's globally launched 500Bar high-pressure direct injection new Blue Whale 1.5T turbocharged engine, with a maximum power of 141kW and a maximum torque of 310N·m.
