Byd rolls out its 13 millionth new energy vehicle

Previously, in November 2024, BYD's 10 millionth new energy vehicle rolled off the production line; it took about 8 months to go from 10 million to 13 million vehicles.

It is reported that the 13 millionth new energy vehicle rolled off the production line at BYD is the Yangwang U7. The Yangwang U7 was launched on March 27 this year, offering four sub-models with a price range of 628,000 to 708,000 yuan.

In terms of appearance, the Yangwang U7 offers four color options: Monday Silver, Obsidian Black, Fluorite White, and Argyle Purple. The car features a fastback design, equipped with concealed door handles, fully enclosed wheel hubs, and an active electric rear wing, achieving a drag coefficient as low as 0.195Cd. The body dimensions are 5265/1998/1517mm, with a wheelbase of 3160mm, categorizing it as a large sedan.

At the rear of the vehicle, the design is distinct with a continuous matrix tail light embedded with the upward-looking logo, making it highly recognizable. The rear bumper has an exaggerated shape, equipped with an active adjustable electric tail wing and a diffuser, combining multi-layered airflow structures for both aerodynamic performance and visual impact.

In terms of interior design, the Yangwang U7 cockpit is centered around the "axisymmetric aesthetics" concept, featuring a 12.8-inch OLED curved central control screen, a passenger entertainment screen, and the world's first 4K naked-eye 3D instrument panel (23.6 inches). Combined with AR-HUD, it achieves a projection distance of 10 meters, with navigation information seamlessly integrated with real-world views, and an error margin of less than 0.1 degrees. The voice assistant supports lip-reading recognition and multimodal emotional interaction, with a response delay of less than 300 milliseconds and a dialect recognition coverage rate of 97%.

In terms of intelligent assisted driving, the Yangwang U7 is equipped with the Tian Shen Eye A three-laser radar solution, featuring 32 intelligent driving sensors and dual Orin X chips, with a computing power of up to 508 TOPS, achieving L2+ advanced intelligent driving assistance capabilities.

In terms of power, the Yangwang U7 pure electric version is equipped with a 135.5 kWh exclusive high-performance blade battery, with a CLTC pure electric range of 720 km; the plug-in hybrid version has a battery capacity of 52.4 kWh, with a comprehensive range of 1000 km.
