According to the Gaishi Automobile Research Institute export database, the top ten export destinations for BYD passenger vehicles from January to July 2025 are as follows:

NO.1 Brazil. From January to July 2025, 29,461 pure electric passenger vehicles and 51,575 plug-in hybrid passenger vehicles were exported to Brazil, totaling 81,036 vehicles.

NO.2 Mexico. From January to July 2025, 31,350 pure electric passenger cars and 42,829 plug-in hybrid passenger cars were exported to Mexico, totaling 74,179 vehicles.

NO.3 Belgium. From January to July 2025, 39,382 pure electric passenger vehicles and 32,932 plug-in hybrid passenger vehicles were exported to Belgium, totaling 72,314 vehicles.

NO.4 United Kingdom. From January to July 2025, a total of 41,947 electric passenger vehicles were exported to the UK, including 22,738 pure electric passenger cars and 19,209 plug-in hybrid passenger cars.

NO.5 Turkey. From January to July 2025, 13,166 pure electric passenger vehicles and 16,951 plug-in hybrid passenger vehicles were exported to Turkey, totaling 30,117 vehicles.

NO.6 Indonesia. From January to July 2025, 29,773 pure electric passenger vehicles were exported to Indonesia.

NO.7 Australia. From January to July 2025, 18,547 pure electric passenger vehicles and 7,140 plug-in hybrid passenger vehicles were exported to Australia, totaling 25,687 vehicles.

NO.8 Spain. From January to July 2025, exported 10,680 pure electric passenger vehicles and 9,358 plug-in hybrid passenger vehicles to Spain, totaling 20,038 vehicles.

NO.9 The Philippines. From January to July 2025, 3,768 pure electric passenger vehicles and 11,849 plug-in hybrid passenger vehicles were exported to the Philippines, totaling 15,617 vehicles.

NO.10 United Arab Emirates. From January to July 2025, 6,000 pure electric passenger vehicles and 7,042 plug-in hybrid passenger vehicles were exported to the United Arab Emirates, totaling 13,042 vehicles.

From January to July 2025, Brazil and Mexico ranked as the top two countries for BYD passenger car exports, contributing a combined total of over 150,000 units. Specifically, BYD exported 81,036 vehicles to Brazil (29,461 pure electric models and 51,575 plug-in hybrid models). Since 2024, Brazil has gradually reinstated import tariffs on new energy vehicles and stipulated that the tax rate would increase every year starting in July.
