Beijing Benz Yizhuang Plant To Produce All-New Pure Electric CLA, Aiming For 6 Million Vehicles In Total Production

According to news on August 18, via the Beijing Yizhuang public account, the Beijing Benz Yizhuang plant will welcome...The production of the all-new pure electric CLAThis plant is one of the largest and most advanced production bases in Mercedes-Benz's global manufacturing network, as well as the only passenger car production base in China. It is currently accelerating towards the goal of exceeding a cumulative production volume of 6 million vehicles.

Beijing Benz was established in 2005, and the new factory was completed in the Economic and Technological Development Zone a year later. According to IT Home, the factory is about to produce its 14th new model.The first domestically produced all-new electric CLA equipped with the MB.OS architecture.It will be officially discontinued within the year.

The vehicle began accepting reservations earlier this month and will be officially launched this fall. It features urban/highway pilot assist driving functions based on domestic technology solutions.

The car's length, width, and height are 4763/1836/1471mm, respectively, with a wheelbase of 2830mm. Inside the cabin, the full LCD instrument panel, central control screen, and front passenger entertainment screen display a unified design, with the front passenger entertainment screen measuring 14 inches. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with the fourth-generation MBUX intelligent human-machine interaction system, supporting various interaction methods such as voice control and gesture operation. In terms of intelligent configuration,The new car will be equipped with urban/highway pilot assist driving functions featuring local technology solutions.Customized and developed based on actual driving scenarios and driving styles in China.

In terms of the powertrain, the all-new Beijing Benz pure electric CLA is built on the MMA platform and adopts an 800V electrical architecture. The previously declared model is equipped with a single-motor system with a maximum output of 200 kW and is paired with a two-speed transmission.
