Sina Finance 2025-03-21 17:53:15

On March 21, ASUS announced on the 17th of this month the launch of a BIOS-level optimization feature called 'AI Cache Boost' for the latest platform featuring AMD Ryzen 9000 series processors and ASUS AMD 800 series motherboards.

AI Cache Boost enabled on ASUS motherboard willexecution includes setting the FCLK(IT Home Note: i.e., Infinity Fabric interconnect operating frequency)overclocking to 2100MHz and a series of setting adjustments, to enhance the performance of the entire chain from GPU to CPU to I/O chip and then to memory in AI workloads.

Based on the benchmark results, AI Cache Boost can bring a performance improvement in the low single-digit percentage in Geekbench AI; and in UL Solutions' Procyon AI computer vision benchmark, the combination of Ryzen 7 9800X3D and RTX 4090 achieved a score increase of 12.75%.

Asus stated that enabling AI Cache Boost will not significantly impact game performance, but to enhance the stability of games,If you want to run the game with this feature enabled, it's best to manually lower the FCLK frequency.
