Senior Vice President of Arkema Group
"The Arkema organic peroxide plant in Changshu has become an important part of the group's global organic peroxide production network since the completion of its first production line in 2005. As one of the main suppliers of organic peroxides worldwide, this expansion is another important growth initiative by the Arkema Group globally, aimed at better meeting the rapidly upgrading demand for specialty materials in the Chinese and Asian markets."
The successful completion of Arkema's organic peroxide expansion project in Changshu has accelerated the industrial validation of multiple more efficient new technologies. During this industrial expansion process, Arkema adopted more efficient measures to optimize production processes and reduce environmental footprints, further enhancing the green operational level of the factory while helping downstream customers improve the sustainability of their end products.
Arkema's Luperox® organic peroxides are widely used in markets such as energy, construction, packaging, pharmaceuticals, and sporting goods, contributing to the creation of a more sustainable world. As a niche additive, this product serves as an important reaction initiator for various polymers. Especially in the context of the global transition to green energy and the increasing demand for lightweight materials, Luperox® organic peroxides play a key role in the manufacturing processes of products such as photovoltaic solar panels and wind turbine blade composites. Moreover, in daily life, this product is also used in the production of plastic products like food packaging, sneaker outsoles, and household goods, making our lives more convenient and environmentally friendly.
