Amway Shares' Remaining Two Dry Production Lines in Vietnam Officially Put Into Operation

China Securities Journal 2025-08-18 10:04:27

On August 15, Amway Corporation announced that its subsidiary, Amway (Vietnam) Materials Technology Co., Ltd., has completed equipment commissioning and trial production of the remaining two dry process production lines, which have now officially commenced operation. With this, all four dry process production lines in Vietnam have been fully implemented, marking a new milestone in the company's capacity layout in the Southeast Asian market.

According to relevant announcements, Amway Vietnam has a registered capital of 35 million US dollars and initially planned to build two wet-process production lines and two dry-process production lines. In recent years, with the continuous expansion of production capacity by downstream brand customers in Southeast Asia in sports, furniture, and other sectors, the demand for ecological functional polyurethane composite materials has surged, especially green products such as water-based and solvent-free ones that are highly favored. To precisely align with market changes, Amway Vietnam decisively adjusted its strategy, converting the originally planned two wet-process production lines into dry-process lines, ultimately forming a layout of four dry-process production lines. Upon full production, it will achieve an annual production capacity of 18 million meters of polyurethane synthetic leather and composite materials.

From the commissioning and start-up of the first two dry-process production lines at the end of 2022 to the official establishment of the remaining two dry-process production lines this time, Amway Vietnam has consistently been market demand-oriented and steadily improved capacity construction over more than two years. This pace not only ensures precise alignment between the production lines and the customer demands in the Southeast Asian region but also allows ample time for cooperation and technical integration with downstream brand customers, reflecting a prudent and resolute approach to overseas market expansion.

The company stated that the full operation of Amway Vietnam's four dry production lines will further enhance Amway's global supply capacity, helping it to respond more quickly to the needs of downstream brand customers, shorten delivery cycles, and lay a solid foundation for expanding market share and enhancing international competitiveness. In the long run, this layout will continue to inject development momentum into the company, creating greater value for shareholders and customers.
