All-New Toyota Hilux Set to Launch in November with GR Sport Version

Recently, it has been learned from relevant channels that the all-new Toyota Hilux will be officially unveiled at the Thailand Auto Show in November. The new model may offer two options: a standard version and a GR Sport version, and it is expected to introduce a new energy model in the future. As a classic pickup truck under Toyota, since its launch in 1968, it has achieved a global cumulative sales of over 17 million units, with excellent off-road capability and high reliability as its important attributes.

The new car continues the classic design while incorporating current popular elements to keep up with the times, as seen in the previously released renderings and patent drawings. At the front, the car is equipped with slimmer headlights, giving it a tougher off-road vehicle vibe, with a sturdy bumper that conveys a strong sense of security. The performance-focused GR model will feature a more aggressive exterior design, such as a honeycomb front grille and off-road tires.

In terms of interior design, the new car features a suspended central control screen, giving the entire center console a strong sense of layering, while retaining a mechanical gear shift lever. The center console also provides ample storage space. Based on the vehicle's positioning, it will retain commonly used physical buttons to ensure better reliability and usability.

In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a 2.8L four-cylinder diesel engine + 48V mild hybrid system, delivering a maximum horsepower of 204Ps. The GR Sport version is equipped with a 2.4L hybrid system, delivering a maximum horsepower of 330Ps. In the future, plug-in hybrid and pure electric models are expected to be launched to meet the needs of different consumers.
