500 million yuan! Fluorine-containing organic new material project starts!

On March 27, the second phase of the Changlu New Materials Fluorine-containing Organic New Materials Industrialization Project (referred to as: Changlu New Materials Phase II Project), with a total investment of 500 million yuan, an additional annual production capacity of 2,072 tons, and a breakthrough in output value of 400 million yuan, commenced construction in the Tianjin Nangang Industrial Zone.

According to reports, the second phase of the Changlu New Materials project is located in the Nangang Industrial Zone, covering a total area of 120,800 square meters. The first stage involves a total investment of 500 million yuan, which will include the construction of two hydrofluoroether production units and supporting utilities. Upon reaching full production capacity, it will add an annual output of 2,000 tons, with annual production value exceeding 400 million yuan.

Currently, Tianjin Changlu Chemical New Materials Co., Ltd. (referred to as Changlu New Materials) has completed the construction of a pilot industrialization base project for fluorinated organic new materials in the Nangang Industrial Zone. Changlu New Materials will use the second-phase project as a strategic pivot to accelerate the transformation of laboratory achievements into thousand-ton-scale industrial projects, expand the application of electronic fluorinated fluids in cutting-edge scenarios such as chip manufacturing and data center immersion cooling, and collaborate with upstream and downstream enterprises to establish a fluorine materials innovation alliance. The company will also take the lead in formulating industry and group standards, driving the in-depth development of domestic substitution.

According to reports, as a pioneer in technological innovation of Tianjin Bohua Group, Changlu New Materials has been deeply engaged in the high-end fluorine chemical field since its establishment in 2015. It has invested over 100 million yuan in research and development, building a full-chain innovation system from "R&D - pilot testing - industrialization." The hydrogen fluoride ether synthesis technology independently developed by the group has reached an internationally leading level, while the synthesis technology for perfluoropolyether and hexafluoropropylene oxide has reached an internationally advanced level, earning the second prize for technological invention in Tianjin. As of now, the group has obtained 129 patents, including 35 invention patents, and has established a post-doctoral workstation, holding qualifications as a national high-tech enterprise and specialized and innovative enterprise.
