From the perspective of track distribution, over 80% of financing enterprises in China focus on bio-based chemicals, protein raw materials, and so on; overseas, however, there is a trend towards diversification, with AI + biomanufacturing, innovations in bio-based materials, and precision fermentation technology becoming key areas for capital investment.

Among them, domestic companies such as CAS Nation (FDCA) and Greenjade Biotech (green surfactants) have completed financing rounds worth hundreds of millions of yuan, with policy support and industrial capital accelerating the implementation of technologies. In terms of new material breakthroughs, Senqi New Materials has received Series A+ funding for its nanocellulose-based high-barrier film materials, driven by the demand for eco-friendly packaging alternatives to promote industrialization.

Overseas, the focus in Europe is on innovations in low-carbon materials (such as Pulpex and Faircraft) and AI technology (like Arsenale Bioyards). In the United States, large-scale financing is concentrated on precision fermentation (e.g., Liberation Labs) and chitosan (e.g., Tidal Vision).
