US Initiates Third Sunset Review of Anti-Dumping on Polyester Film
On August 1, 2025, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced the initiation of the third sunset review anti-dumping investigation on imports of polyethylene terephthalate film, sheet, and strip from China and the United Arab Emirates. Simultaneously, the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) initiated the third sunset review industry injury investigation on imports of polyethylene terephthalate film from China and the United Arab Emirates to determine whether revocation of the existing anti-dumping measures would likely lead to the continuation or recurrence of material injury to the U.S. domestic industry within a reasonably foreseeable period. Interested parties must register with the U.S. Department of Commerce within 10 days of this announcement.
