2025-09-09 14:27:59

Recently, Oeyvind Lindeman, Chief Operating Officer of shipping company Navigator Holdings Inc., stated that as European derivatives producers gradually adapt to the reality of domestic ethylene capacity being phased out, Europe is rapidly becoming a major importer of U.S. ethylene. Oeyvind pointed out: "For Europe, filling the domestic production gap by importing U.S. ethylene is the better choice. In July, 75% of Europe's seaborne ethylene demand came from the U.S., marking a record high proportion, and this trend is likely to continue."
