Dreame Technology’s First Ultra-Luxury Electric Vehicle to Debut at CES

Dreame Technology founder Yu Hao recently released the first car rendering, revealing that the model is positioned as an "ultra-luxury pure electric" vehicle, targeting the Bugatti Veyron, attracting high attention from the public. Yu Hao stated that Dreame Automotive will debut and showcase a prototype at this year's CES in the United States, with the first model planned to officially launch in 2027.

According to the released renderings, the exterior design of the new car appears to be inspired by the Bugatti Chiron. The interior features a dual-spoke steering wheel and a connected display, combining both a sense of technology and luxury.

In addition, Dreame Automotive is selecting a site for a factory in Berlin, Germany, adjacent to Tesla's Berlin Gigafactory, and plans to collaborate with BNP Paribas to accelerate its global market expansion.

The Global Impact Coalition (GIC) has announced the launch of a dedicated spin-off structure to advance its "Sustainable Olefins Program." The project will begin with a feasibility study, marking the first step in Europe towards methanol-based electronic sustainable aviation fuel (e-SAF) and new process routes for low-carbon chemicals. A group of GIC member companies has joined forces to assess the technical and economic potential of methanol-to-olefins (MTO) technology as a sustainable alternative to traditional fossil-based production processes. The team will evaluate the feasibility of converting sustainable methanol into olefins, which are key raw materials for fuels and high-end materials. The newly established spin-off structure aims to foster deeper collaboration, explore investment opportunities, and lay the foundation for potential project development.

Senior executives in the global petrochemical industry have warned that U.S. tariff policies are placing even greater pressure on an already struggling sector. Executives from TotalEnergies pointed out at the Asia-Pacific Oil and Chemical Conference that the trade disruptions caused by the Trump tariffs could lead to a 15% decline in global petrochemical trade volumes. Ganesh Gopalakrishnan, Head of Petrochemical Trading at TotalEnergies, said during the conference, “If the tariffs remain in place, transaction prices for petrochemical products will drop by another 15%. Over the past five years, due to overcapacity, total trade volumes have already fallen by 34%.”

The "2025 Xianyu Trendy Toys Consumption Insight Report" was released on September 9. According to the report, trendy toy transactions will see explosive growth in 2025, with both order volume and transaction value in the second quarter increasing by over 300%. The domestic trendy toy market is accelerating its differentiation, and new IPs are entering a golden period of growth. LABUBU has topped the sales chart for two consecutive years, while five major IPs including Xingxingren, Rayan, and WAKUKU have entered the top 20 for the first time. Currently, the domestic trendy toy market is dominated by original Chinese IPs, with only four overseas IPs making it into the top 20 in sales in the first half of the year. In the first half of 2025, orders for soft vinyl and plush trendy toys on the Xianyu platform surged to 240 times that of the same period in 2024, with LABUBU, DIMOO, and SKULLPANDA among the most sought-after IPs.
