Construction Materials-Other Building Materials
PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene), commonly known as "plastic king," F4, or Teflon, is made from suspended polytetrafluoroethylene resin through molding and can be made into sheets, turned films, and pipes. It can be pressed and extruded. It can be mixed with graphite and other materials to produce plates, rods, packing, ropes, and raw materials tape.
Characteristics: It has a very wide operating temperature range (from -200 degrees Celsius to +260 degrees Celsius).
It is generally resistant to all chemical substances except for some fluorides and alkali metal liquids.
It exhibits excellent mechanical properties, including aging resistance, particularly in bending and swinging applications.
Outstanding flame retardancy (meets ASTM-D635 and D470 testing procedures, classified as a flame-retardant material in the air).
Excellent insulation properties (regardless of frequency and temperature).
Extremely low water absorption rate and possesses a series of unique properties such as self-lubrication and non-stickiness.
Applications: Seals/gaskets, ring materials, wear-resistant plates/seats, insulating parts, corrosive-resistant industries, mechanical components, linings, oil and gas, petrochemical industry, chemical industry, instrument equipment manufacturers, etc.
Specifications: Special sizes can be customized.
