PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene), commonly known as plastic king, F4, or Teflon. It is made from suspension polytetrafluoroethylene resin through compression molding, which can be formed into sheets, turned films, and pipes. It can be pressed and extruded. It can be mixed with graphite and other materials to make plates, rods, packing, ropes, and raw tape.
Characteristics: It has a very wide range of operating temperatures (from -200 degrees Celsius to +260 degrees Celsius).
Essentially resistant to all chemical substances except for some fluorides and alkaline metal liquids.
Excellent mechanical properties including aging resistance, especially for applications involving bending and swinging.
Outstanding flame retardancy (complies with ASTM-D635 and D470 test procedures, classified as a flame-retardant material in air.
Excellent insulation properties (regardless of frequency and temperature)
Extremely low water absorption, and has a series of unique properties such as self-lubrication and non-stickiness.
Applications: Seals/ gaskets, ring materials, wear-resistant plates/ seats, insulating parts, corrosion-resistant industries, mechanical components, linings, oil and gas, petrochemical industry, chemical industry, instrument and equipment manufacturers, etc.
