PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene), commonly known as plastic king, F4, or Teflon. It is produced by molding suspension polytetrafluoroethylene resin, which can be made into sheets, turned films, and pipes. It can be pressed and extruded. It can be mixed with graphite and other materials to produce plates, rods, packing, ropes, and raw tape.
Characteristics: It has a very wide operating temperature range (from -200 degrees Celsius to +260 degrees Celsius).
It is essentially resistant to all chemical substances except for some fluorides and alkaline metal liquids.
It has excellent mechanical properties including aging resistance, particularly for applications involving bending and swinging.
It has outstanding flame retardancy (meets ASTM-D635 and D470 test procedures, classified as a flame retardant material in air.
It has excellent insulating properties (regardless of frequency and temperature)
It has extremely low water absorption and a series of unique properties such as self-lubrication and non-stickiness.
Applications: Seals /gaskets, rings, wear-resistant plates/ seats, insulating parts, corrosive-resistant industries, mechanical components, linings, oil and gas, petrochemical industry, chemical industry, equipment manufacturers, etc.
