PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene), commonly known as plastic king, F4, or Teflon. It is made from suspension polytetrafluoroethylene resin through molding, which can be formed into sheets, turned films, and pipes. It can be pressed and extruded. It can be mixed with graphite and other materials to produce sheets, rods, gaskets, ropes, and PTFE tape.
Characteristics: It has a very wide operating temperature range (from -200 degrees Celsius to +260 degrees Celsius).
It is basically resistant to all chemical substances except for some fluorides and alkali metal liquids.
It has excellent mechanical properties, including aging resistance, especially for applications involving bending and swinging.
It has outstanding flame retardancy (complies with ASTM-D635 and D470 testing procedures, classified as a flame-retardant material in air.
It offers excellent insulation properties (regardless of its frequency and temperature)
It has an extremely low water absorption rate, and possesses a series of unique features such as self-lubrication and non-stick properties.
Applications: Seals /gaskets, ring materials, wear-resistant plates/ electrical insulators, insulating parts, anti-corrosion industries, mechanical components, linings, petroleum and natural gas, petrochemical industry, chemical industry, instrument equipment manufacturers, etc.
