PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene), commonly known as plastic king,F4, or Teflon. It is made from suspension polytetrafluoroethylene resin through molding, which can be formed into sheets, turned films, and pipes. It can be pressed and extruded. It can be mixed with graphite and other materials to produce sheets, rods, gaskets, ropes, and PTFE tape.
Characteristics: It has a very wide temperature range (from-200 degrees Celsius to+260 degrees Celsius).
It is basically resistant to all chemicals except for some fluorides and alkaline metal liquids.
It has excellent mechanical properties, including aging resistance, especially for applications involving bending and swinging.
It has outstanding flame retardancy (meetingASTM-D635 and D470 testing procedures, categorized as a flame-retardant material in air.
It possesses excellent insulation characteristics (regardless of frequency and temperature)
It has an extremely low water absorption rate and possesses a series of unique properties such as self-lubrication and non-stickiness.
Applications: Seals/gaskets, rings, wear-resistant plates/insulation parts, corrosion-resistant industries, mechanical components, linings, oil and gas, petrochemical industry, chemical industry, instrument and equipment manufacturers, etc.
