Features
The ZCQ type self-priming magnetic drive centrifugal pump (referred to as self-priming magnetic pump) is a new product successfully developed based on user requirements and incorporating new foreign technologies on the basis of the CQ type magnetic pump, after extensive research and testing by our technical personnel. Its performance reaches the advanced level of similar products abroad. The pump uses static sealing instead of dynamic sealing, ensuring that the flow components of the pump are completely sealed, effectively eliminating the unavoidable issues of leakage associated with mechanical seals in other pumps. The materials used for the pump body and flow components include corrosion-resistant stainless steel, corundum ceramic, and PTFE graphite, which not only retain the functionality of the CQ type but also integrate self-priming capabilities without the need for a foot valve or priming water.
Main Applications
The ZCQ type self-priming magnetic pump features a compact structure, attractive appearance, small size, low noise, reliable operation, and convenient maintenance. It can be widely used in chemical, pharmaceutical, petroleum, electroplating, food, photographic development, scientific research institutions, and defense industries for transferring acids, alkalis, oils, precious liquids, volatile liquids, and as a supporting device for circulating water equipment. It is particularly ideal for transferring flammable, explosive, and volatile liquids.
Working Principle
The ZCQ type self-priming magnetic pump adopts an external mixed axial return water pump structure, consisting of a liquid suction chamber, a liquid storage chamber, a volute, a return hole, and a gas-liquid separation chamber. After the pump starts, under the action of centrifugal force, the residual liquid in the suction chamber and the air in the inlet pipeline are stirred into a gas-liquid mixture by the impeller. This mixture enters the gas-liquid separation chamber through the volute, and as the speed decreases, it leads to gas-liquid separation. The air is discharged from the pump's outlet, while the liquid returns to the pump through the return hole. After multiple cycles, the air in the inlet pipeline is completely expelled, creating a certain degree of vacuum inside the pump, achieving self-priming action.
Installation
1. After unpacking, check the pump nameplate to verify whether the main parameters of the self-priming magnetic pump match the usage requirements.
2. The self-priming magnetic pump should be installed horizontally, and the pump body should not bear the weight of the piping.
3. The pump and piping should maintain good sealing.
