Self-Adhesive Polymer Modified Asphalt Polyester Waterproof Membrane is made of filament polyester felt as the base material, with polymer modified asphalt as the impregnating material. The upper surface is covered with a polyethylene film, fine sand, shale, aluminum foil, or an isolation membrane as a separation layer, while the lower surface is coated with a silicone release membrane as an anti-stick layer. The product is divided into Type I and Type II based on performance. According to the upper surface material, it is classified as polyethylene film (PE), fine sand (S), or non-film double-sided self-adhesive (D).
Product Features of Self-Adhesive Polymer Modified Asphalt Waterproof Membrane:
1. This membrane combines the advantages of elastic SBS modified asphalt waterproof membrane and self-adhesive membrane, offering superior properties such as puncture resistance, self-healing, and self-adhesion compared to traditional membranes.
2. Excellent high-temperature resistance, good low-temperature flexibility, dimensional stability, high tensile strength, and elongation, with strong adaptability to substrate shrinkage, deformation, and cracking, meeting high-standard waterproofing requirements and suitable for various environmental construction needs.
3. Low requirements for the substrate; even on uneven surfaces, as long as there is contact with cement slurry, it can bond firmly; it can achieve good adhesion with the substrate whether using wet or dry laying methods.
4. Flexible construction methods ensure construction timelines, allowing for wet laying, dry laying, pre-laying reverse adhesion, mechanical fixation, and other methods according to different construction conditions. Particularly, the wet laying and pre-laying reverse adhesion methods do not require leveling and have low substrate requirements, unaffected by weather and substrate moisture, providing significant advantages during rainy seasons or urgent projects.
5. The self-adhesive adhesive layer uses a unique formula developed by our company that can form an interpenetrating network with the molecular structure of cement, allowing the membrane to bond integrally with concrete (inseparable even in long-term immersion environments). This effectively controls the "water penetration" phenomenon, truly achieving the integration of the waterproof membrane with the structural body.
6. Convenient, safe, and environmentally friendly construction. The process does not require solvents or open flames, avoiding environmental pollution and fire hazards while saving resources.
