High Molecular Polyethylene Polypropylene Root-Puncture Resistant Waterproof Membrane is a specialized waterproof membrane made of modified synthetic polymer resin as the main root-resistant waterproof layer, reinforced with high-strength filament fabric, and produced through a one-time composite process.
Product Features:
- Non-toxic, long service life; good chemical resistance, aging resistance, and corrosion resistance.
- The high molecular polyethylene polypropylene root-puncture resistant waterproof membrane has a dense texture, small water vapor permeability coefficient, and excellent waterproof performance.
- Good flexibility, easy to bend, fold in any direction, and easy to operate.
- Has the function of preventing plant roots from penetrating, able to withstand root puncture without affecting normal plant growth.
- The root-resistant bonding material that accompanies the membrane is an environmentally friendly product, which itself also serves as a root-puncture resistant layer, forming a double insurance root-puncture resistant waterproof system.
- High mechanical strength and strong puncture resistance.
Price and Construction Process of Polypropylene Root-Puncture Resistant Waterproof Membrane:
1. Base Cleaning: Clean the surface of the base to remove dust and debris; a dry base should be pre-wetted but should not have any residual standing water.
2. Preparing Adhesive: The weight ratio of polyvinyl alcohol glue to cement is 1:5, with each kilogram of cement requiring 0.40-0.43 kg of water; when the weight ratio is 1:10, each kilogram of cement should have 0.47-0.50 kg of water. When preparing, first place 107 glue into the mixing container, add water while stirring, and stir until the polyvinyl alcohol glue is fully dissolved; then add cement while stirring until smooth, with no lumps, no sediment, and no foam.
3. Treatment of Complex Areas: Before applying the waterproof layer, handle the additional layers for complex areas according to the drawings, using membrane, cement glue, or polyurethane glue for bonding.
4. Large Area Membrane Installation: When installing composite membranes, pre-place the composite membrane at the installation site for 3-12 meters (for underground projects, it can be pre-placed for 2-3 meters). After aligning the direction, fix it in the middle, bond one end of the membrane to the fixed point, and after bonding, roll back the pre-placed end to the already bonded position, continuously installing until complete.
- Composite membrane seam overlap width: long edge seams are 100mm, short edge seams are 120mm. Adjacent short edge seams should be staggered by more than 1m; during multi-layer construction, the overlapping edges of the upper and lower layers should be staggered by more than 1/3 of the width.
