The breathable film unit is a combination of casting equipment and MDO (Machine Direction Orientation) stretching equipment, capable of producing both cast films and breathable films. By adding approximately 50% CaCO3, the breathable film, after being stretched by MDO, acquires a unique microporous structure. These densely distributed micropores on the surface of the film allow liquid or water vapor molecules to pass through while preventing liquid leakage, hence the name "breathable film." The distinctive feature of breathable films not only lies in their breathability but also in their textile-like feel, making them an ideal choice for the backsheet of diapers and sanitary napkins. Breathable films made from PE and PP materials are suitable for applications in hygiene products, medical uses, and waterproof construction materials.
