Impact resistance: The impact resistance of polycarbonate sheets can reach 3kg/cm. The impact strength of PC sheets is 250-300 times that of ordinary glass, 20-30 times that of acrylic sheets, and 2 times that of tempered glass, with almost no risk of breakage. There are no cracks even when a 3kg hammer drops from two meters. It is famously known as "shatterproof glass" and "sound steel."

Light transmission: High light transmission rate of 85-91%, with transparency comparable to glass. It does not yellow, haze, or lose light transmission under sunlight exposure. After ten years, the light transmission loss of UV-coated sheets is only 6%, while the loss rate of PVC is as high as 15%-20%, and fiberglass is 12%-20%.

Weather resistance: The surface has a co-extruded layer that prevents resin fatigue and yellowing caused by ultraviolet rays from sunlight. The co-extruded layer has chemical bonds that absorb UV rays and convert them into visible light, providing good stability for plant photosynthesis. It guarantees no fading outdoors for ten years and maintains stability of physical indicators in the temperature range of -40℃ to 130℃. Artificial weather aging tests for 4000 hours result in a yellowing degree of 2 and a light transmission reduction of only 0.6%.

Flame resistance: Polycarbonate sheets are not self-igniting and have self-extinguishing properties. They comply with the EU ROHS directive and strict UL safety standards, achieving UL94 fire ratings of V0, V2, and HB. The ignition point of PC sheets is 580 degrees Celsius, and they self-extinguish after the flame is removed, releasing no toxic gases and not promoting the spread of fire.

Heat and cold resistance: No deformation or quality degradation occurs within the temperature range of -40℃ to +130℃. PC sheets do not become brittle at -100℃ and do not soften at 137.3℃; their mechanical and physical properties remain stable in harsh environments.

Lightweight and hardness: Weighing only half that of glass and one-third that of acrylic sheets, they offer good adaptability and safety, making them easy to handle, drill, and cut, with minimal risk of breakage during installation and safe construction.

Flexibility: Can be cold-bent on-site according to design drawings to form arched or semi-circular roofs and windows. The minimum bending radius is 175 times the sheet thickness, and hot bending is also possible.

Sound insulation: PC sheets provide significant sound insulation, outperforming glass and acrylic sheets of the same thickness in acoustic insulation. Under the same thickness conditions, the noise reduction of PC sheets is 3-4 dB higher than that of glass. It is an internationally recognized material for highway sound barrier construction.

Energy efficiency: Keeps cool in summer and warm in winter, with a lower thermal conductivity (K value) than ordinary glass and other plastics. The thermal insulation effect is 7%-25% higher than that of equivalent glass, with PC sheets achieving 49% insulation. This greatly reduces heat loss, making them environmentally friendly materials for buildings with heating equipment.

Anti-condensation: When the outdoor temperature is 0℃ and the indoor temperature is 23℃ with indoor relative humidity below 80%, there is no condensation on the inner surface of the material.
