Impact resistance: The impact force of polycarbonate (PC) sheets can reach 3kg/cm; the impact strength of PC sheets is 250-300 times that of ordinary glass, 20-30 times that of acrylic sheets, and 2 times that of tempered glass, with almost no risk of fracture. There are no cracks when a 3kg hammer drops from two meters, earning it the reputation of "shatterproof glass" and "ringing steel."

Light transmittance: Light transmission rate reaches 85-91%, and its transparency can rival that of glass. There is no yellowing, hazing, or poor light transmission after prolonged exposure to sunlight. The UV-coated sheets lose only 6% of their light transmittance after ten years, while PVC loses 15-20%, and fiberglass loses 12-20%.

Weather resistance: The surface has a co-extruded layer that prevents yellowing of the resin due to UV rays from sunlight. The surface co-extruded layer has a chemical bond that absorbs UV light and converts it into visible light, providing good stability for plant photosynthesis. It guarantees no fading for ten years outdoors. It maintains stability of various physical indicators within the temperature range of -40℃ to 130℃. In artificial climate aging tests for 4000 hours, the yellowing degree is 2, and the reduction in light transmittance is only 0.6%.

Flame resistance: The polycarbonate sheet itself is non-flammable and has self-extinguishing properties. It complies with the EU ROHS directive and strict UL safety standards, achieving UL94 fire ratings of V0, V2, and HB. The self-ignition point of PC sheets is 580 degrees Celsius; it extinguishes itself after the fire is removed and does not produce toxic gases or promote the spread of flames when burning.

Heat resistance and cold resistance: It does not deform or deteriorate in quality within the temperature range of -40℃ to +130℃. PC sheets do not become brittle at -100℃ and do not soften at 137.3℃, maintaining their mechanical and physical properties without significant changes in harsh environments.

Lightweight and hardness: Lightweight, only half the weight of glass and one-third that of acrylic sheets. Good adaptability and safety make it easy to transport, drill, cut, and install without breaking easily, ensuring simple and safe construction.

Flexibility: Can be cold-bent on-site according to design plans to form arches, semicircular roofs, and windows. The minimum bending radius is 175 times the sheet thickness, and it can also be hot-bent.

Sound insulation: PC sheets have significant sound insulation effects, providing better sound insulation than glass and acrylic sheets of the same thickness. Under the same thickness conditions, the sound insulation of PC sheets is improved by 3-4 dB compared to glass. It is used internationally as a material for highway noise barriers.

Energy efficiency: Keeps cool in summer and retains heat in winter; PC sheets have a lower thermal conductivity (K value) than ordinary glass and other plastics, providing 7%-25% better thermal insulation than the same glass, with thermal insulation as high as 49%. This greatly reduces heat loss, making it an eco-friendly material for buildings with heating equipment.

Anti-condensation: When the outdoor temperature is 0℃ and the indoor temperature is 23℃ with indoor relative humidity below 80%, there is no condensation on the inner surface of the material.
