Impact resistance: The impact resistance of endurance plate can reach up to 3kg/cm, the impact strength of PC endurance plate is 250-300 times that of ordinary glass, 20-30 times that of acrylic sheet, and 2 times that of tempered glass, with almost no risk of breakage. Even when dropped from a height of two meters with a 3kg hammer, there will be no cracks, earning the names "unbreakable glass" and "sounding steel".
Transparency: The daylighting and transmittance can reach 85-91%, and its transparency can be comparable to glass. It does not yellow, fog, or have poor light transmittance under sunlight. The light transmittance loss of UV coated panels after ten years is only 6%, while PVC can lose 15-20%, and fiberglass can lose 12-20%.
Weather resistance: The surface has a co-extruded layer that resists ultraviolet rays, preventing resin fatigue yellowing caused by sunlight ultraviolet rays. The surface co-extruded layer can chemically absorb ultraviolet rays and convert them into visible light, providing a stable effect for plant photosynthesis. It can guarantee no fading outdoors for ten years. It maintains stability in various physical indicators in the range of -40°C to 130°C. After 4000 hours of artificial climate aging test, the yellowing degree is 2, and the light transmittance reduction is only 0.6%.
Flame resistance: The endurance plate itself is not flammable and has self-extinguishing properties. It complies with EU ROHS directive and strict UL safety regulations, with UL94 fire ratings reaching V0, V2, and HB levels. The self-ignition point of PC sheet is 580 degrees Celsius. It self-extinguishes after leaving the fire, and does not produce toxic gases during combustion, nor does it help spread the fire.
Heat resistance, cold resistance: It will not cause deformation or quality deterioration in the temperature range of -40°C to +130°C. The PC sheet does not become brittle at -100°C, does not soften at 137.3°C, and its mechanical and physical properties do not change significantly in harsh environments.
Lightness and hardness: It is light in weight, only half of glass and 1/3 of acrylic sheet. It has good adaptability and safety, making it easy to transport, drill, cut, and install without easy breakage, making construction simple, convenient, and safe.
Bendability: It can be bent on-site in accordance with the design drawings using cold bending method to install arches, semicircular tops, and windows. The minimum bending radius is 175 times the thickness, and it can also be heat bent.
Sound insulation: The PC sheet has significant sound insulation effect, better sound insulation than glass and acrylic sheets of the same thickness. Under the same thickness conditions, the sound insulation of PC sheet is 3-4dB higher than glass. It is the material for highway sound barriers internationally.
Energy saving: It keeps cool in summer and warm in winter. The thermal conductivity (K value) of PC sheet is lower than ordinary glass and other plastics, with 7%-25% higher heat insulation effect than glass of the same thickness, and 49% higher heat insulation than glass. This greatly reduces heat loss, making it suitable for buildings with heating equipment as an environmentally friendly material.
Anti-condensation: When the outdoor temperature is 0°C, indoor temperature is 23°C, and indoor relative humidity is less than 80%, the inner surface of the material does not condense.
